Ted Cruz Campaign Pulls Ad Attacking Rubio With Porn Actress

The presidential campaign for Ted Cruz has pulled an ad that attacked rival contender Senator Marco Rubio after it came to light that the ad features a former porn actress.

Cruz’s campaign announced through a statement on Thursday it had replaced that commercial with another one after it learned of the background of Amy Lindsay the actress used in the ad.

The Cruz campaign said the actress had responded to a casting call passed the audition and received the job. However, the casting company had not vetted the actress and had the campaign known of her entire film credits she would not have appeared in the advertisement.

The campaign has taking the ad down and replaced with another. In the ad taken down, seven supporters of Cruz sit around in a circle and talk about their regrets when they had vote previously for Rubio.

One of the men said he laments having cast his vote for Rubio, who he called a hero of the Tea Party who portrayed the movement by backing amnesty for the undocumented immigrants.

A woman who has now been revealed to be Lindsay answers by saying maybe you should have voted more than for a pretty face.

Lindsay was raised in Houston and now lives in Los Angeles. She tweeted late in Thursday that she had been extremely disappointed that the campaign for Cruz decided to yank the ad nationally.

She did not say if she still supported the senator from Texas and his bid for the presidency. He campaign received a boost with a finish of first place in Iowa and a finish in third in New Hampshire.

The resume for Lindsay included over a dozen titles that were soft porn. She has also had larger roles in TV shows.
