Must Hit Rock Concerts for 2013
The year 2013 offers a vast array of rock concerts ranging from newer bands to those that have been around for decades. As follows are the ones that offer the greatest potential experience:
GARBAGE – Lead singer Shirley Manson is not to be missed and is possibly the strongest living female rock singer. They are currently touring in support of their new album, “Not Your Kind of People.” Their shows are primarily a large mix of general attendance with some reserved seats in smaller venues.
METALLICA – This band has been playing well together for decades and is still one of the best live acts. They perform in larger theaters/arenas and put on an exceptional show with stunning visuals.
THE WHO – Don’t get fooled again for any reason into missing this show. Daltry is still great on vocals and Townshend is one of the most copied rock guitarists in the history of rock. They are well known for their theatrics as well as their controversial musical, “Tommy.”
PEARL JAM – Vocalist Eddie Vedder still has it and is one of the most emotional and active performers to set foot upon the stage.
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN – “The Boss” is legendary for mind-blowing and extremely long concerts that give the audience everything they can ever want and more. Expect a wide variety of classic songs as well as new releases. Springsteen usually has a large band in support of his songs, but on occasion does shows in smaller venues with limited to no band support.
SOUNDGARDEN – One of the first grunge bands to emerge nationally out of Seattle in the 90′s (although they began playing in the mid-80′s) and an inspiration for bands to come.
BON JOVI – This veteran band has been around for decades and is renowned for their shows. The band features one of the greatest lead singer/lead guitarist duos in Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora.
There are numerous ways to purchase tickets to these events. If tickets are already on sale, such sites as Big Ticket Shop can offer a wide range of ticket prices as well as listings of current and upcoming concerts.
