Former Sen. Ted Stevens died in a single engine plane and bringing a lot of grief to the people in Alaska plus world wide. Monday night light volunteers found the wreckage. The volunteers helped to care for the people that had survived the plane crash. The ex-NASA chief Sean O’Keefe was also on the plane but survived it.
The death of Sen. Ted Stevens stunned residents and lawmakers. He was decorated during World War 11 as a pilot that survived the 1978 plane crash which was deadly. He served in the GOB senator making history for being the longest serving senator. The cause of the crash was not known right away. On the day it happened there was some fog, light rain and mist that was reported. The crash is being investigated.
People said that Former Sen. Ted Stevens was a man of his word. When he said he was going to do something, he did it. He was a gem to find and had the respect from many people all over the world because of how devoted he was to the country. He will be missed by family, friends, and lawmakers and by the residents in Alaska. He will be remembered as man that was devoted to his country and served for a very long time.
