Israel is currently applauding the U.S for pushing Iran’s buttons really hard, in the recent NPT conference. But we all know, that the deep seated concerns and protests won’t stop Iran from making weapons, let alone, abandon its nuclear programs.

Israel also wants to deflect the Arab and Iranian accusations of hypocrisy that it just wants to deny rivals nuclear program, after it secretly developed its own nuclear weapons. To make things clear, the Israeli Prime Minister – Benjamin Netanyahu said that the U.S. and the U.N Security Council didn’t really make a hard effort in imposing bans on Iran.

Although, Israel is still clinging to the hope that the individual countries will decide on imposing stiffer punishments on those countries, who don’t want to abandon their nuclear weapon program. But still, as an ending speech, the Israeli government officials said that the U.N at least made an effort in watering down Iran’s intentions and this gesture shows the level of unity among all other nations against Iran.

It is pretty obvious that the Israeli’s would have loved some harsher sanctions to hurt Iran’s nuclear energy sector. The age old rivalry between Iran and Israel keeps on prevailing on an – “On and off” basis. Any new dispute or argument, doest strike us by a surprise anymore, because these things have become pretty normal for everyone.
