Senator George Allen from Virginia, is being blasted on television and radio by the Majority PAC, which is aligned with the Democrats. They are blasting the Virginia Senator for his record of voting in Congress and using the airwaves to praise Tom Kaine the former governor of Virginia who is opposing Allen in a Senate race in the state.

The ad narrator talks about one candidate of the two that has served already in Congress and looks at what he did while there; he helped take the largest surplus in the budget and make it into a huge national deficit; he voted to make Medicare weaker; and gave breaks in taxes to businesses who in turn sent all their jobs to oversea countries.

Then the ads says that Allen’s opponent Kaine, made the state one of the nation’s best for business for four consecutive years, cut over $5 billion from the state’s spending and kept the unemployment rate in Virginia to less than the national average.

The super PAC’s advertisements come as a coordinated response from outside Democratic aligned groups to the huge blitz of advertising by Crossroads GPS and American Crossroads, the GOP aligned super PACs that started this past week. When the group announced the ad campaign, it mentioned that allies of theirs were in the other six states where the GOP-aligned super PACs were targeting Senate races. This new ad by Majority PAC also goes hand in hand with Kaine’s own advertising that says his record is proof he has the more fiscally responsible ideas.
