Next year’s presidential, Senate and House elections would be one of the most interesting ones in recent time. President Barack Obama must persuade the voters to re-elect him even though his economic policies failed. Hillary Clinton

People felt the economic crisis. The number of taxpayers with more than $1 million of income decreased from 40,000 in 2007 to just 235,000 in 2009. The number of unemployed people went up from an average of 1.3 million in the last three recessions to 4.3 million in 2010 alone.

The economy during Obama’s watch is the worst that the country has seen in the last four decades. Payroll employment is 5 percent lower than it was 41 month ago. In the past three years, federal spending compared to the gross domestic product is higher than at any point since World War II. It added $4 trillion to the national debt.

There were speculations that Obama might change his vice president candidate to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Several poll results showed that Mrs. Clinton is the most admired woman in politics. According to a poll, majority of people disapprove of Obama’s performance while they favor Mrs. Clinton. It would be a good move to add Mrs. Clinton to the ticket.
