Obamas Approval Rating Plummets to All-Time Low
According to the latest poll conducted by CBS News, President Barack Obama’s approval rating dropped to 43 percent, which is the lowest level of he got as president. His disapproval rating increased to a record 50 percent as well. 
The president’s job performance rating has been polarized among the two parties. Most of the Democrats approve of his work while 89 percent of Republicans disapprove of it. 37 percent of independents approve while 54 percent said that he could do better.
The president’s approval rating has been below 50 percent since the spring of 2010 except after Osama bin Laden was killed, which resulted into a notable spike in his approval. It is not a surprise that the president’s approval rating is down while the economy is also not doing well.
According to the poll, 72 percent of Americans thought that the country is moving on the wrong track. This is the highest since the Obama became the president. Only 23 percent said that the country is moving in the right path.
34 percent approved Obama’s policies on the economy with 57 percent disapproving them. 40 percent said they approve the presidents’ actions on job creation while 53 percent of the respondents disapproved.
