Reince Priebus Says Obama failed on Promises
Reince Priebus, the chairman for the Republican National Committee, blasted President Barrack Obama during his appearance on Face the Nation, Sunday on CBS. Priebus called out President Obama as someone who loves to hear his own voice however has not followed through with his promises.
The RNC chair said Obama made a number of promises to the people of the United States. He promised to fix the debt, jobs, deficit, green energy, gasoline and lobbyists. He was the king of promises. He said Obama has not followed through on a single promise and even went the opposite direction on some.
People want authentic and real people leading the country, ones who maintain their word and the latest president is not, said Priebus.
Priebus also defended Republican challenger Mitt Romney’s latest campaign moves, including his appearance with the media at Solyndra, the solar company, which filed bankruptcy after being given federal loan guarantees.
Priebus also went on the offensive against the Obama reelection campaign for a Thursday press conference held at the State House in Massachusetts, in which David Axelrod, a senior strategist for the Obama campaign assailed the record of Romney, as the governor of Massachusetts. Supporters from the Romney campaign appeared at the press conference and attempted to drown out Axelrod’s comments.
Axelrod, while appearing on Face the Nation, took the time to defend his press conference by saying they went to Massachusetts to speak about the economic record of Romney. He said Romney paints himself as a creator of jobs, and is saying the same thing he did 10 years ago while running for the governor of Massachusetts. What happened following his election is that Massachusetts dropped to 47th in the country in jobs creation.
