Obama Meets SEAL Team Responsible for Killing Bin Laden
President Barack Obama met with the Navy SEAL Team that was responsible for the raid that resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden. He congratulated them for the successful mission. He promised that he would not stop until the al Qaeda is defeated.

The president met the team at Fort Campbell, which is the home of the Army’s 101st Airborne Division and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. The latter is the group that operated the special helicopters that were used in the raid.
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden met with the members of the SEAL Team 6 in private. Among them is the guy who fired the fatal shots at bin Laden but reports said that he was not singled out from the group. The president also met a canine that was part of the operation in Pakistan.
Both Obama and Biden thanked the SEAL team members for risking their lives to complete the mission. They were also briefed on the operation by the members who conducted it. Then Obama awarded the members with Presidential Unit Citations. This is the highest award that can be given to a military unit.
A nationwide alert was issued with regards to rail security. According to information found during the raid, the al Qaeda has plans to detail trains in the United States. Part of their plan was to place obstructions on tracks. No specific rail system was named in the plan.
