The RNC Chairman – Michael Steele is quite famous these days, and it’s certainly not in the good way. The guy is despised in the inner circles of his committee and the worst part is that he doesn’t have a good fan base at all. With only a handful of followers, Steele is “optimistic” on running the same gig for a second term. Do you think he can get away with the big seat this time around?

 Michael-Steele

We have to salute Michael’s moral compass and his guts that convinced him to join the electoral run for the second term. However, the news has shocked many politicians in the highs and lows of the U.S. government. People thought and WANTED him to step aside politely, followed by his performance in the office during the last 2 years.

At its core, the big question is still hanging in the balance. Do you think that Michael Steele can pull it off this time or not? Personal opinions aside, the guy’s repo is based on the opinions of his fellow committee members. A GOP observer said, “He doesn’t have a path to victory, it’s more of an extremely steep, technical climb filled with a variety of obstacles.”

Why is Steele’s path eschewed with obstacles? Here are a couple of answers:

Steel currently has 40 supporters, out of the 168 member group of the RNC. The number “40” is not even half of what 168 is. An 85 would’ve been a little better and he’d have been in a good shape to win with half of what 168 voters are saying right now. Mike Duncan was the runner-up guy in the last RNC Chairman contest. This is why; Duncan has healthy prospects of getting nominated this time because of the recent ballot results depiction.
