Jason Taylor to Play for Jets
Jason Taylor, once a superb NFL – Dolphins player, bid farewell to the old team once and for all. He agreed to a 2 year contract, worth $13 million with his former enemy in the AFC East. Jason Taylor’s ability to make salary was well beyond $1.5 Million but it wasn’t enough I guess.
With added benefits, additional incentives and fewer restrictions, Taylor is better off with the Jets. He highlighted how The Jets have been paying him respect and how much they want him to play for them, so he had to make a tough decision – but he finally made it.
Some people say that the officials themselves had a hand in Jason Taylor’s draft and that’s one Jason for Dolphins holding back Jason, from staying in South Florida for a 13th season. With the loss of such a fine linebacker, Dolphins are waiting for the replacement. So far, Cameron Wake and Charlie Anderson are on the list and both of them are pretty exceptional linebackers.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano has been supportive of Jason Taylor and was thanked by Taylor in quite a number of interviews later on. Since Taylor has been offered something fresh on the table and a new start from Jets, lets see how he goes on with everything there.
