Tons of mourners just gathered around the main Warsaw square in the two days funerary services in the honor of President Lech Kaczynski.

President Lech Kaczynski unfortunately got killed nap lance crash over west Russia about a week ago. The plane just slammed into a long row of trees while making attempts to make a landing at Smolosk, amidst cloudy weather and intense fog.

Different officials from across the world, such as the US President Obama, made plans for visiting the funeral but their plans were hindered by the huge volcanic cloud of ash over some parts of Europe. This small barricade didn’t let President Obama from expressing his grievances to the Polish officials over phone and other communication devices.

The Poles have been sad for almost a week and they have been showing their emotions through small gestures like;

* Hanging black ribbons on their windows
* Going on public mourning holiday
* Showing up in Warsaw’s Town Square with flowers and candles
* Gathering around in long lines to write a few things in the provided notebooks

Parliament speaker, Bronislaw Komorowski told media that, “There are certain moments in a nation’s life span when one can literally feel the unity and team work. The unfortunate incident of President Lech Kaczynski’s death was one of these very rare moments”.

To make matters worse, President Lech Kaczynski wasn’t alone in that tragic plane crash because he was assisted by his Wife, Maria and tons of other valuable officials. This was more than just a loss for Polish nation and everyone had to show up at the funeral because people felt it as more of a duty towards their late leader.

Warsaw – Poland, The acting Polish President (Bronislaw Komorowski) reassured his countrymen about Poland getting back to stabilization. Although, the killing of former President Lech Kaczynski was a fateful incident but that doesn’t mean, our country should give up on moving ahead and making progress.

The new president, Komorowski took a short vow in a televised address and agreed to fill in positions for those important people, who died with the former president. So far, 97 people have been lost and their seats need to be filled with equally competitive candidates.

Throughout his address, President Komorowski was speaking from the inside of the Presidential Palace but it didn’t stop thousands of Poles from showing up. All those people listened to Komorowski carefully and lined up around the Presidential Palace in order to write a few words in condolence books. The mourners showed up in true spirit of patriotism and brought flowers and candles with them as well.

Komorowski and his wife are due for a public viewing on next Tuesday. In addition, a state funeral was planned and set up for Saturday for the late President Kaczynski. A lot of high profile government officials will be showing up, including the Russian President – Dmitry Medvedev.

Another fact is that Poland’s major share of political power lies in the hand of its Prime Minister (Donald Tusk). So people are of the view that their country will regain stabilization in a much faster manner. Plus, Poland has sent over 2200 soldiers to Afghanistan to help US in maintaining a balance against terrorist activities. All of this was done in order to let the world know that Poland is still stronger than ever and life is moving slowly towards perfection – for Polish people and the country as well.
