The assault was a reaction to the ongoing efforts of Afghan leaders and NATO commanders, towards launching a major offensive in the southern city of Kandahar. These attacks are a strong indication of what the future is going to hold if political parties are going to continue with their offense.

The suicide attack wasn’t the only incident that day because less than 24 hours later, a group of Taliban extremists opened fire against the American base at Bagram. The results ended up in the death of 7 extremists and 5 wounded American soldiers.

The recent suicide bombing incident on Tuesday pushed the number of Americans killed in the Afghan operations, since autumn 2001, to 1,000+. However, there have been tons of violent incidents and they all started during the Bush regime. Since then, only a 1,000+ figure in 9 years? Obviously officials are holding back those actual figures, just to pretend that the overall situation is under control and we haven’t lost a lot of American lives.

As of now, for local residents, suicide attacks, blood shot streets and bags filled with human body parts, have become a common thing.

We don’t know for how long these stories of violence and mayhem are going to continue, but a lot of people are to be blamed for this whole mess and George W. Bush is definitely one of those people. Okay, we do understand he wanted to put an end to terrorism and all that stuff, but America never lost so many of its sons and fathers before the operations initiated.
