As compared to last month, Dow Jones’ index dropped down to 0.34%, after rising up to 3.5% on last Monday.

And that’s not all, because “Obamaville” also expressed some concerns through a spokesperson. For now, the only strategy of curbing the European crisis is to aid them through loans and guarantees worth 750 Billion Euros.

This package was already released and it buoyed the London and Paris stock market shares by 5% to 9%, but without any prior indication, both markets fell down by 1% and 0.7% suddenly. President Obama is now going to actively and personally engage himself in this issue, to device an end to it.

The main concern right now is the loss of confidence in some European economies and it is feared that the high debt level can spread like a plague to other parts of the world too – and that may include the U.S. as well.

We already know, things are not very bright at the U.S. side so they can’t afford to get struck by another financial crisis. The situation will turn upside down and people cannot bear with the already prevailing unemployment rate and tax crisis.

Financial authorities from the U.K. are already battling against this problem. A currency strategist – Todd Elmer from Citigroup, said that the pound could rise further and if it happens, the U.Ks financial issues can be tackled easily.

The recent NPT (Non Proliferation Treaty) had five signatories, namely; US, Russia, China, Britain and France. Noticeably, among all five of them, the U.S. and Russia are the main sources of nuclear warheads because of the vast majority of weapons they have.

On the other side of the picture, we have three countries – Pakistan, India and Israel, who didn’t sign up for the NPT and that is why no one from their side showed up to represent them. Plus, these countries are known for secretly developing nuclear weapons and most of the times, they get by with a small slap on the wrist.

Iran is a unique case because it lies at the core of the entire NPT conference and yet again, the Iranian President (Ahmadinejad) is going to take part further discussions on nuclear power, until May 28th – New York. At one point, Iran openly admits the possession of nuclear warheads but they also openly deny those “requests” that are made through negotiations, pertaining to calling it quits with their nuclear weapons program.

Israel and Pakistan are not members of the NPT, but they’re both strengthening their nuclear assets so that potential threats can be held back. Pakistan is threatened by the Sunni Militants and Israel is under pressure/threat by Syrians and some Muslim parties. This phenomenon is known as; being prepared for the unexpected, according to one’s own fears.

The last 2005 NPT conference ended without any final decisions and this time, some countries have high hopes that they’re all going to hit a proper solution or some sort of decision. Let us wait, till May 28th and see what unfolds in the coming days.

After all, Obama didn’t show up). After a bit of scheduling, President Obama and the first lady Michelle Obama finally made it to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a private weekend.

During his last stay in Asheville, President Obama called it a spectacular place. This time, his intentions were focused and he decided not to take/make any calls on any sort of debates over the financial reform bill.

Even though President Obama is finally back on the Golf course, he still has a keen eye on political activities. Since Jimmy Carter, Obama was the first presidential candidate (Democrats), to win North Carolina. And it is mainly because of the supporters and volunteers from South Carolina, who persuaded people of North Carolina, in favor of Obama.

No doubt, Asheville is a breathtaking place to be in and it has over 73,000 residents. In addition, Asheville is also home to the famous Vanderbilt family’s Baltimore Estate, along with a huge collection of those art galleries and magnificent restaurants.

According to sources from The White House, President Obama doesn’t have any major plans for public gatherings. But he will speak at Sunday’s memorial in Beckley, about the worst coal mine disaster in the past 40 years. The recent Massey Energy’s Upper – Big Branch Mine, took 29 lives and this was indeed a huge risk for all the families of those poor victims.

Tons of mourners just gathered around the main Warsaw square in the two days funerary services in the honor of President Lech Kaczynski.

President Lech Kaczynski unfortunately got killed nap lance crash over west Russia about a week ago. The plane just slammed into a long row of trees while making attempts to make a landing at Smolosk, amidst cloudy weather and intense fog.

Different officials from across the world, such as the US President Obama, made plans for visiting the funeral but their plans were hindered by the huge volcanic cloud of ash over some parts of Europe. This small barricade didn’t let President Obama from expressing his grievances to the Polish officials over phone and other communication devices.

The Poles have been sad for almost a week and they have been showing their emotions through small gestures like;

* Hanging black ribbons on their windows
* Going on public mourning holiday
* Showing up in Warsaw’s Town Square with flowers and candles
* Gathering around in long lines to write a few things in the provided notebooks

Parliament speaker, Bronislaw Komorowski told media that, “There are certain moments in a nation’s life span when one can literally feel the unity and team work. The unfortunate incident of President Lech Kaczynski’s death was one of these very rare moments”.

To make matters worse, President Lech Kaczynski wasn’t alone in that tragic plane crash because he was assisted by his Wife, Maria and tons of other valuable officials. This was more than just a loss for Polish nation and everyone had to show up at the funeral because people felt it as more of a duty towards their late leader.

For the sake of Israel’s security and secrecy, a sense of ambiguity was maintained – said an atomic program minister on last Wednesday.

The good thing which minister Ayalon believes is that there was no pressure on Israel from the US against nuclear weapons safeguarding and neither did Israel make any demands at the summit.

Israel has clearly mentioned that it will consider “giving up with the nuclear weapons programs: AFTER the rest of the countries have ceased to develop nuclear weapons of their own (yeah like this is ever going to happen and we all know it that it won’t).

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu didn’t show up at the summit and the Maariv newspaper stated down that Netanyahu was actually pleased by not having to show up. Maybe he believed that by not showing up, he wouldn’t be giving any participant, any chance of thinking about Israel’s nuclear programs for a while.

Statistics reveal that Israel has a huge arsenal of hundreds of Nuclear Warheads and they’ve been saving them up since the year of 1965. Washington also, on the other hand, hasn’t been able to inquire Israel about their nuclear programs. Looks like there’s a huge conspiracy going on and the public needs to be aware of that.

Mitch McConnell (Senate Republican Leader) has been criticizing the Democrats’ plans to regulate Wall Street as something arrogant. Furthermore, he accused the Democrats of carrying out the government takeover.

Mr. McConnell said that they cannot allow endless tax payer funded bailout for a long period of time. And henceforth, we are not going to let the financial reform bill go through so easily. At one hand we have average American people and on the other hand, there is Wall Street and its interests.

The senate bill has no qualms when it comes to large financial firms be allowed to fail (if they’ve been facing failures before). Mr. McConnell specially focused on creation of a regulation party which is capable of seizing and dismantling a financial institution. This was all an outcome of months of talks between members of the banking committee

Senator Mark Warner (Democrat of Virginia)
Senator Bob Corker (Republican of Tennessee)

In addition a $50 Billion “liquidation fund for orderly purposes”, was created from fees charged to largest banks. It will help in taking over and the house version of the bill (which was approved in December), is expected to create a $150 Billion fund.

Mr. Timothy Geithner said that he firmly believes the bill is going to be approved. But then again, Senator Richard c. Shelby (Alabama) thinks that the legislation would fail in its current form. Only time can tell what is going to be the outcome of this whole issue so lets just wait and see how things flow.

Abhisit Vejjajiva’s Democratic Party is lined up for dissolution after being charged with allegations and being accused of receiving millions of illegal donations.

Throughout 18 years, the country was left scarred by the recent tragedy which involved the death of 21 people in a political violence. Officials have further tightened the screws on Abhisit Vejjajiva’s, saying that the parliament might be subject to dissolution as well if a solution cannot be found.

Furthermore, the violence has laid off tourists to a great extent and whatever the amount of tourists, the country was left with – they are all flying back to the UK and US. Same goes for Australian tourists and in addition, Travel Guide has been updated for tourists – saying that;

“Tourists are advised to stay away from hostile situations, places and specially the local vicinity in Bangkok”.

Red Shirt protestors tried to notify the authorities about the £5 million donations from a cement company which was not brought to the notice of the commission. But their effort went in vain for the time being and now they are parading across the streets of Thailand with scarlet coffins.

It seems like the fateful death of 21 people is more than enough to shake the concerned authorities towards making adequate regulations for the country. The Red Shirts have been notified of their victory at last and the electoral commission is going to take an action once and for all, in the right direction.

Although, the killing of former President Lech Kaczynski was a fateful incident but that doesn’t mean, our country should give up on moving ahead and making progress.

The new president, Komorowski took a short vow in a televised address and agreed to fill in positions for those important people, who died with the former president. So far, 97 people have been lost and their seats need to be filled with equally competitive candidates.

Throughout his address, President Komorowski was speaking from the inside of the Presidential Palace but it didn’t stop thousands of Poles from showing up. All those people listened to Komorowski carefully and lined up around the Presidential Palace in order to write a few words in condolence books. The mourners showed up in true spirit of patriotism and brought flowers and candles with them as well.

Komorowski and his wife are due for a public viewing on next Tuesday. In addition, a state funeral was planned and set up for Saturday for the late President Kaczynski. A lot of high profile government officials will be showing up, including the Russian President – Dmitry Medvedev.

Another fact is that Poland’s major share of political power lies in the hand of its Prime Minister (Donald Tusk). So people are of the view that their country will regain stabilization in a much faster manner. Plus, Poland has sent over 2200 soldiers to Afghanistan to help US in maintaining a balance against terrorist activities. All of this was done in order to let the world know that Poland is still stronger than ever and life is moving slowly towards perfection – for Polish people and the country as well.

Seems like Pakistan has a huge storage of these guys and the stock never seems to diminish.

Najibullah Zazi was the main suspect in this complicated case and now after being pleaded guilty, he cooperated with the investigating authorities. After a thorough “check and balance” protocol, the investigating authorities tracked the case’s roots, back to Pakistan.

Zazzi, along with his friends, decided on traveling back to USA to execute his plans for detonating bombs at two of the New York City’s biggest subway stations. On the list we have

* Times Square
* Grand Central Terminal

Some of the officials agreed to release some information about the case, only if anonymity was taken into consideration. Reports say that 3 suspects were caught in the US, while the 4th one was arrested in Pakistan (after a lot of struggle). We still don’t have clear information on this 4th guy because officials are trying to keep his identity a secret.

But the good thing for this poor fella is that he might not be punished for planning the bombings. Maybe he got arrested as a suspect and that’s how far it goes? However, apart from Zazi, the two other men are

* Adis Medunjanin
* Zarein Ahmedzay

We have a reason to believe that the disrupted attacks were modeled, by keeping in mind – those 2005 bombings at the UK’s train stations.

But let’s be real and retract to those days when some people “mistakenly” loaded nuclear missiles on a B-52 Bomber, back in the year 2007. From North Dakota, the plane flew (with the jelly in it) and landed all the way down in Louisiana. This clearly proves America’s own shortcomings towards safeguarding nuclear weapons. But mixed up plane flights and mistakenly loaded weapons are not the whole part of this story; let’s take a look at some other glorious deeds;

* The US Air Force had to fire an entire squadron for “overseeing” a whole bunker of nuclear weapons/warheads at Kirtland Air force Base. This indicates a degree of incapability and poor inspection on behalf of the officials of the United States government.
* The Energy Department’s officials came up with this report that the Sandia National Laboratories (New Mexico) did not remove some part of highly enriched Uranium – while moving their top secret assets to a new and secure place. The report further elaborates the complexity as some sort of mishap which took place in prioritizing and categorizing the nuclear material.
* And another gem for you folks;
* Last year, in fall – the GAO reported that some highly important nuclear weapons related information wasn’t properly secured in one of its computers. The information could have been easily hacked from one of the PCs at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, or maybe it got hacked?

So the bottom line is a clear indication of irresponsibility and carelessness of the US government in securing its own nuclear plans/ weapons. “Charity begins at home” — does it ring a bell for you Mr. President?
