Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez was wanted with regards to a White House shooting incident was arrested in western Pennsylvania. He was allegedly involved in a shooting last Friday night, which may be responsible for the two bullets found at the White House.

A bullet hit a window and stopped by the bulletproof glass. Another bullet was found on the wall. Both bullets were found by the Secret Service last Tuesday. Ortega-Hernandez is set to appear in federal court in Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Lt. Brad Shields of the Pennsylvania State Police announced that it apprehended Oscar Ortega-Hernandez and was currently being questioned by the federal authorities with regards to the shooting. He was arrested through a US Park Police warrant issued last Sunday in Washington, which is based on a shooting that occurred at the White House on November 11.

Shields said that a tip came last Wednesday that the suspect was staying at a Hampton Inn in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He stayed at the hotel with another person for several days before the shooting last Friday.

When Ortega-Hernandez returned to the hotel, staff members recognized him from a photo given by authorities and they immediately notified the police. He didn’t resist the arrest in the hotel lobby but he did question the police why he was being detained. No weapons were found in his belongings.
