Obama Should Do Something About the Texas-Mexico Border
Greg Abbott, an Attorney General based in Texas, is calling the attention of President Barack Obama regarding the security of the border between Mexico and Texas. It was only recently that a shooting incident happened in Juarez, Mexico wherein the shots crossed the American border and struck Texas City Hall. In an interview with the Fox News, Atty. Greg Abbott said that two-thirds of the American-Mexican border is located in Texas. He considers these places to be very violent because of the immigration security and the show of force from the current administration is truly overwhelming.
President Barack Obama made a speed recently at the American University regarding the immigration security. However, Greg Abbott was truly unimpressed with what the president said. The attorney general said that it still needs full review apart from the reviews being undertaken at the legal immigration in United States. In his speed, the president said that their country has the responsibility and the right to control the borders. At the same time, they also have the right to set the laws for citizenship as well as residency in United States. The president also added that no matter what the reasons are and no matter how decent the immigrant is, as long as they are one of the 11 million people who broke the immigration-related laws, they should always be held accountable for their acts.
Greg Abbott said that the president still does not have a real idea how severe the security border issues are or probably Obama is trying to mislead is countrymen with his speech. Abbott said that the recent speech made by Barack Obama made it abundantly clear to the Americans that his administration would not commit in keeping the security of the American-Mexican border. This is despite the expected 1,200 National Guard troops that will secure the borders by the end of August.

07-07-2010 Breaking AP Immigration News:
PHOENIX — On paper, Arizona’s controversial new immigration law is not that different from the federal version. But the key difference is this: Arizona wants every illegal immigrant caught and deported….
The federal lawsuit focuses on a core constitutional concern — balancing power between the states and the federal government. More specifically, the issue centers on the long-running “pre-emption” legal argument that says federal law trumps state law.
The government sidestepped concerns about the potential for racial profiling and civil rights violations most often raised by immigration advocates. Experts said those are weaker arguments that do not belong in a federal legal challenge.
Need more proof of Obama admin / legislation posturing?
The MSM (main sewer media) has focused almost exclusively on the racial profiling and civil rights violations for weeks. As have those opposed to AZ’s new law – and the Obama administration has silently let them. BUT NOW the fed gov “experts” finally come out and say those arguments are so WEAK they won’t hold up to scrutiny.
This is about the Obama administration log rolling the issue until AFTER November and pandering to La Raza & other minority interest groups – nothing more!
This administration is in disregard for the basic safety of American citizens and their rights. Those who oppose AZs immigration laws (of all races, colors, creeds) are either ILLEGALS or in support of lawlessness within the USA.
You can expect the beltway inept & corrupt to:
A) Spend your tax dollars fighting AZ and proposing to do nothing serious at all about the illegals in this country OR the murder and mayhem on our borders.
B) Angle for a way to appease illegals so they will vote early and often come November.
C) Ignore their constitutional duty to secure our borders by pressing for “real reform” (which translates to total amnesty) before they take action to secure the USA.
Demand action NOW to control our borders! Support Arizona and states who are considering / drafting their own immigration laws because the Federal Government has FAILED to do its duty to the American people.
