So how is it that the issue has ended up before SCOTUS? I’m guessing there must have been an appeal somewhere along the line, but I can’t seem to find anything in your article to confirm that guess — or the reasons behind filing such an appeal.

Is someone trying to make the point that “Hey – if you’re a prostitute, you deserve whatever disease you got.”???? I’d kinda like to know who’s making that claim.
