BTQ Technologies (NASDAQ:BTQ) shareholders approved all proposals presented at the company’s annual general and special meeting, including the election of five directors, the appointment of MNP LLP as auditor and the reapproval of the company’s omnibus equity incentive plan.
The virtual meeting was chaired by Chief Financial Officer Lonny Wong, who said the company had established a quorum and that the meeting was properly constituted to conduct business. Shareholders were permitted to vote electronically on each matter.

Wong declared the director-election resolution carried and confirmed that each nominee had been duly elected.
Auditor Appointment and Omnibus Plan Reapproved
Shareholders also approved the appointment of MNP LLP as BTQ Technologies’ auditor for the ensuing year. The auditor’s remuneration will be determined by the board of directors.
In addition, shareholders reapproved the company’s Omnibus Plan. Wong said the plan’s full text was included in the company’s information circular, which is available through the company’s profile on SEDAR+.
The meeting also included the presentation of BTQ Technologies’ financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, along with the related auditor’s report.
No Shareholder Questions Submitted
Following the formal business portion of the meeting, the company opened a question-and-answer session. Mathieu Gauthier, BTQ Technologies’ head of corporate development and secretary of the meeting, said no shareholder questions had been submitted.
Wong thanked shareholders for their continued interest and support, adding that investors may submit questions to the company’s investor relations department at [email protected].
