Why it matters

The update gives investors a fresh guide for the business because the filing gives guidance, not results. By OptimistFi's calculation, full-year revenue guidance leaves about $2.97 billion to $3 billion for the other three quarters after first-quarter revenue guidance of $935 million to $939 million.

That means most of fiscal 2027 still depends on later quarters. The full-year ARR range of $4.4 billion to $4.43 billion implies 16.6% to 17.4% growth, while revenue guidance implies 16.6% to 17.5% growth.

The company also kept non-GAAP gross margin at about 80% for both periods, with full-year non-GAAP income from operations guided to $924 million to $932 million. Free cash flow margin is guided to about 23.0% to 23.5%, which investors can compare with later results.

OptimistFi's case is that cloud-native zero-trust security remains a strategic control point for enterprises. The filing links that view to AI tailwinds, a customer growth flywheel, multiple growth engines and a $10 billion ARR target.

It also lists standard non-GAAP exclusions, including stock-based compensation expense, related employer payroll taxes, amortization of acquired intangible assets and amortization of debt issuance costs.

What's next

The next test is first-quarter fiscal 2027 results against revenue of $935 million to $939 million and non-GAAP income from operations of $215 million to $217 million. Results at or above those ranges would support the update, while a miss would weaken confidence in the growth plan.
