Why it matters

OptimistFi's case is that Block works if its Square seller network and Cash App consumer network keep expanding gross profit while management sustains GAAP operating leverage.

Eisen's sale was about 1.4% of the 1,290,672 shares held before the trade, which keeps most of the position in place.

The three sales were equal, and the shares changed hands in three 6,000-share lots across 2026-10-12, 2026-10-13 and 2026-10-14.

The prices stayed close, from $75.70 to $76.97, and the filing gives the holdings after each sale, which lets investors trace the position step by step.

That sequence shows 1,284,672 shares after the first sale, 1,278,672 after the second and 1,272,672 after the third.

The Rule 10b5-1 plan limits how much investors can read into timing, and the remaining stake still leaves Eisen with more than 1.27 million shares.

The sale leaves the investment case unchanged, even though it trims the position on the page.

For investors, the filing is a mixed signal because it confirms a sale but also shows a large continuing stake under a prearranged plan.

What's next

Block's next quarterly report is the next scheduled test of whether gross profit growth and operating leverage are still holding.

A report showing both would strengthen OptimistFi's case.

A slowdown in either would weaken it.

That report will be the cleaner read on the underlying business.

The Form 4 only fixes the insider snapshot for now.
