Why it matters
OptimistFi's case is that Danaher turns installed-base demand in diagnostics and life-science instruments into predictable cash that management can compound with DBS and acquisitions. This filing supports that view because revenue, earnings and cash flow all improved, and the company raised its full-year EPS guide. Operating cash flow also topped net earnings, which fits that cash-conversion pattern.
The low end of full-year adjusted EPS guidance moved up by $0.12, from $8.45 to $8.57. That is a positive sign. Still, the fourth quarter includes an approximately 150 basis point respiratory headwind. Management also says tariffs, currency, and acquisition integration can affect future results. Nine-month operating cash flow reached $4.74 billion, up from $4.3 billion a year earlier.

What's next
Danaher will discuss the quarter and its outlook on a conference call today at 8:00 a.m. ET. A replay will be available on the Investors section of Danaher's website until November 4, 2026. Investors will watch whether core revenue excluding respiratory revenue lands in the 4.0% to 5.0% range and whether full-year EPS stays within the new guide.
Stronger core growth and another guide lift would support the case. A miss on that range or a wider respiratory drag would weaken it. The call will also show whether management keeps the same demand tone behind the outlook.
